Richard Wood is a native of Wilkesboro, North Carolina and currently lives in Sanford, North Carolina. He is an Adjunct Professor of Religion at Gardner-Webb University. He has served congregations in the areas of education, youth ministry, children’s ministry and interim pastor over the last 20 years, and has led conferences on youth ministry, youth Sunday School and technology in ministry all across North Carolina. He is responsible for the technology needs of the partnership along with assisting churches with their technology needs.
John Daniels, a native of Virginia, currently serves as Minister of Administration with First Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC. He has previously served churches in Western North Carolina and Tennessee. John strongly believes that administration is an important and necessary component of the church’s mission. He wants to assist churches from neglecting or getting distracted by critical administrative issues. He has years of policy and procedure experience as well as experience in restructure and re-assignment of committee responsibilities. He will represent the partnership for churches in Southeastern North Carolina and Coastal South Carolina.
Larry’s passion is working with churches, pastors, and church leaders facing missional challenges. God has a unique mission for every church in their particular setting, and each church is called to the work of spiritual discernment to discover and join God in that mission. He believes God has placed each person in their church with the giftedness to move God’s mission forward. Through a prayerful congregational process, these gifts are nurtured into a vision that is helpful, hopeful, and transformational.
Larry has served churches as pastor and staff minister. For over 25 years, he has served nine congregations as Intentional Interim pastor, all making use of congregational, missional, and spiritual discernment process. Larry is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and offers the ministry of coaching to congregations, ministers, and church leaders.
Dr. Bill Greenwood is a retired pastor after serving over thirty years in four North Carolina Baptist churches. He was also an Adjunct Professor for Gardner-Webb University for 20 years.
Bill has been active in over 20 short-term mission trips to some dozen countries.
